Todd, Ian, Lucas and Isaac

This year, My friends Ian and Isaac along with my child-Lucas will be taking part in “Shred the Night” — 24 hours of skiing at Greek Peak in Cortland — to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis research. For 24 straight hours, We'll be pushing through the cold, the fatigue, and the long night on the mountain for something much bigger than skiing. We are doing it for kids like Noah!

Noah is 12 years old and lives with cystic fibrosis. He’s the same age as my own child, which makes this cause deeply personal for me. While most 12-year-olds are focused on school, sports, and time with friends, Noah also has to manage daily treatments, medications, and the constant challenges that come with CF. It’s a relentless disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, and there is still no cure.

The good news is that incredible progress has been made. Advances in research and breakthrough medications have helped people with CF live longer, healthier lives than ever before. Some of the newest treatments have already made a meaningful difference in Noah’s life — giving him stronger days, more energy, and more opportunities to just be a kid. That progress is only possible because of fundraising efforts like this one.

But we’re not finished yet. A cure is within reach, and continued support is what will get us there. Every donation helps fund critical research, life-changing therapies, and hope for families facing CF every single day. When we ski through the night at Greek Peak, We will be thinking of Noah — and of a future where kids like him don’t have to fight this battle anymore.

If you’re able, please consider supporting this effort. Together, we can help turn 24 hours on the mountain into a lifetime of change.
