Brock Purdy is turning the endzone into dollars during his 2023 season playing quarterback for the San Francisco 49er's.  The touchdown pledge will generate dollars raised during the regular season to help fund the research for a cure for cystic fibrosis. 

Make a pledge for each touchdown Brock Purdy assists in the 2023 regular season. Pledges are for total number of touchdowns in the season regardless of when you make the pledge. (Pledges are calculated by the $ amount you pledge times the # of touchdown assists Brock Purdy has). 

The connection between Purdy and 10 year-old Charlie Hugunin, came about when Purdy was attending Iowa State University and was the starting quarterback for the Cyclones.  Charlie's grandparents, Lynn and Reed Moore, are family friends of the Purdy family.


 

From Charlie's grandma Lynn: 

Charlie has a daily battle to just breathe. "When Charlie was 4 years old, she asked me “what does the cure mean”? My heart broke but I told her that we were working hard to provide the doctors and the researchers what they need to find whatever it is that will make her cystic fibrosis go away.” She smiled and told me that she loved me for helping to make her not sick. How can I not do whatever it takes to make that happen". We can make that happen. Charlie's Angels conducts fundraising events throughout the year to help fund research for a cure.
 

This fun and exciting event will help raise funds to support my CF Foundation special event fundraising efforts, and help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation forward their mission to find a cure for all people with cystic fibrosis. 
 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis research and care. Because of the Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives.  The outlook for people with CF continues to improve year after year.
