Charlee Cook and Her Life With Cystic Fibrosis
Charlee is an athletic, hilarious, thriving 7th grader in spite of having cystic fibrosis. This is a progressive disease that causes damage to the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body. She performs chest treatments before and after school along with inhaling medication from a nebulizer to loosen the mucus that forms in her lungs. On average, Charlee consumes 26 pills a day that allow her body to process fat and protein. She also gets to eat while she’s sleeping overnight with the help of a feeding tube! The advancements of Charlees medication have improved her life. People who donate to the foundation not only provide advancements in medication for Charlee they provide it for EVERYONE living with CF!
Thank you for your continuous support and participation to this event!
