Hello dear family and friends,

Thank you for helping Elena fight CF by supporting the CF Foundation through our DC MONUMENTAL HIKE. Your financial gift and/or your participation in this hike is a huge blessing to our family!

We are participating in two 20+ mile hikes: Xtreme Hike at Snowshoe on September 27th and the DC Monumental Hike on October 18th.  This webpage is for the DC hike.

The DC Monumental Hike is a "Passion Event" - as the Foundation calls it - beginning and ending at my house.  We will start at 7 am (arrive at my house at 6:45 am) and head south on a 12-mile loop around the Monuments.  We will return to my house around noon for a quick snack and to pickup or drop off hikers. Next, we will finish with an 8-mile loop north into Rock Creek. You may join for one or both loops. After our successful 8, 12, or 20-mile hike, we will have a finish line party.  

​Lastly, on August 23rd, there will be a 5, 10, or 15-mile training hike in Rock Creek.  Details below.
