Your friends and family will marvel at your Sugar Cookies this holiday season! In this class, instructors Sylvia Prosak, Marisa Lino, Melissa Weiner and Janet Weiner will teach you how to simply and easily decorate stunningly beautiful sugar cookies with Royal Icing. Sylvia is the 2023 Arlington County Fair's First Prize Winner for Holiday Cookies!

Each student will receive 7 pre-baked holiday-themed cookies ready to be decorated. The designs will include a snowflake, a snowglobe, a mitten, a Christmas tree, a snowman, a holiday house and a holiday "ugly sweater." You can decorate your cookies to look exactly like ours, or use the techniques we will teach you to make your own unique designs.

Delicious home-baked sugar cookies, 5 colors of icing, unique sprinkles and other supplies will be provided. You can also purchase prebaked "cookie kits" ready to take home to decorate with your new skills! Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase as well.

The class will last for 2 1/2 hours and will include a box to take your treats home in. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron.

This class is most appropriate for adults.  Children ages 10 and up will be accepted as students if accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the workshop.

Due to the generosity of our instructors, 100% of the ticket cost will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Metro DC Chapter. The Weiner family, who has two adult children with CF, is deeply grateful for your support for this event and the quest for a cure for all people with this disease.
