    About Jacob and Cystic Fibrosis:
Bruce’s son Jacob John suffers from Cystic Fibrosis (“CF”) a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas and other organs.  The type & severity of CF Symptoms can differ widely from person to person.  Living with CF comes with many challenges including medical, social and financial.

Jacob’s pancreas does not work and relies on enzymes to help digest his food.  He also has polyps in his sinuses that have to be removed surgically and will always grow back.  Jacob manages his symptoms very well by keeping fit and frequent check-ups with his awesome CF Team at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

People with CF are living longer, healthier lives than ever before, thanks to tremendous advancements in specialized CF care and a range of treatment options.   With the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Great Strides and the GENEROSITY of all who have donated.  Although there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short.
