Join us for Running with Straws Dallas, a community run created to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis. We will be running alongside 214Run Club!

To begin the run, participants will be invited to breathe through a straw for the first minute as we start together. While this simple exercise cannot fully represent the experience of living with cystic fibrosis, it offers a small glimpse into the breathing challenges many people with CF face every day.

After the first minute, we'll continue with a 3–5 mile run along the Katy Trail. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to support a meaningful cause, everyone is welcome.

Following the run, we'll head to Berkeley's Market for a post-run cool down, conversation, and community to celebrate the end of summer bash! Come connect with fellow runners, learn more about cystic fibrosis, and support a cause that impacts thousands of individuals and families. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward greater awareness—one mile at a time.

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs and digestive system, making every breath a conscious effort. Through this event, we aim to build empathy, educate the community, and inspire action in support of research and those impacted.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis research and care. Because of the Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives.  The outlook for people with CF continues to improve year after year.

Thank you in advance for your support and participation to this event, you are helping to make a difference for people living with CF.

Run with purpose. Breathe with intention. Make an impact.

We can't wait to run with you.
