Thank you for considering attending the 7th Annual Clinic for a Cure.  All of the money raised will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  As in the past, all coaches, counselors, and trainers are volunteers and are receiving no financial compensation.

Our goal is to provide an enjoyable baseball experience for the campers.  We want them to have fun and we want to help them get better.  Furthermore, we hope to raise awareness and
money for a good cause.

I have been organizing this event for seven years now and over the previous six, we have raised about $40,000.  My 13 year old daughter, Claire, has Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that effects the respiratory system and digestive system.  Fifty years ago, people with Cystic Fibrosis were not expected to reach adulthood.  Due to research and new drugs, and new treatments etc, people with CF now can live long lives.  My daughter is doing very well due to these advancements.  We are getting closer and closer to finding a cure for this disease and helping all those affected by it,  but we are not there yet.  Please consider attending the clinic and/or making a donation so we can help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation reach their goal of making CF stand for Cure Found.

Sincerely,
Hal Carey
