Our family is fueled by a deep belief in the power of the greater good. We've always known that with unwavering dedication, collaborative effort, and a touch of love, incredible things can happen. It's a fundamental part of our story.

Picture this: Marcella and Will, two detectives from Northern Virginia, brought together by fate, forming a family of four with our two eldest. Then, eight years ago, our world transformed with the arrival of our feisty, energetic, and incredibly loving third child.
Yet, the story takes a turn. A day after her birth, we received heart-wrenching news—complications suggested she might have cystic fibrosis. This rare condition disrupts the balance of salt and protein in the body, impacting the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. In that delivery ward, we, seasoned detectives, faced a crisis. But instead of succumbing to despair, we armed ourselves with the tools we knew best—determination and resilience.


Our journey with the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) community has been a testament to miracles born from perseverance. In the throes of a pandemic, our daughter's hospitalization became a turning point. The FDA's approval of Trikafta, a groundbreaking medicine, ushered in hope. By targeting genetic mutations at the root of the disease, Trikafta has the potential to alter the course of CF, offering a more normal life span.


Our world has expanded and become more profound over the last eight years. Love, in its rawest and most beautiful form, fuels our every step. We've developed a strategy, joined forces with other passionate individuals, families, and friends in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. But not everyone can access Trikafta. We live cautiously, managing airway clearance therapies and daily enzymes, mindful of potential dangers. Yet, there are those who run faster in the race against time without the aid of Trikafta. We fight for them, for our daughter, standing united until a cure is found.
