Take Down CF
General McLane High School is hosting our 8th Annual Take Down Cystic Fibrosis Wrestling Match - a dual meet, during the District 10 Dual Meet Championships. This event, featuring a competition between two of the top 16 teams in District 10 will kick off this year's fundraising efforts to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's efforts to find a cure for CF. All proceeds from the event are donated to the CF Foundation, through the Great Strides team Charlee's Angels.
Sponsors for each weight class, donations and pledges per takedown are taken prior to and during the event, and for the first time participating students can also register through this site to fundraise and earn prizes as well!
This fun and exciting event will help raise funds to support Charlee's Angels - a Great Strides Erie team started by Coach Ryan Cook in honor of his 7 year old daughter, Charlee, who suffers from this progressive genetic disease that caused damage to her lungs digestive system and other organs in her body.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis research and care. Because of the Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives. The outlook for people with CF continues to improve year after year.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation to this event, you are helping to make a difference for people living with CF.
