In honor of the inspiring CF fighters in my life, I'm running a half marathon to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation find a cure for all people with cystic fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes a sticky mucus to build up in a person’s lungs, making it hard for them to breathe. Many with CF say that it feels like they are breathing out of a straw. What makes CF especially isolating is that two individuals that have the disease should not be within 6 feet of each other due to the risk of cross-infection.

If my friends in the CF community can face these challenges every day and still offer support to others, then running a half marathon in their honor is the least I can do!

Thank you in advance for your support, you are helping to make a difference for people living with CF.
