Lee Owen Stone Preschool is holding its 12th Annual Trike-A-Thon event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This event takes place in conjunction with Portland's 'Great Strides' event, which is the CFF's largest and most successful national fund-raising event. Cystic Fibrosis is an issue close to the heart of the Lee Owen Stone community as our teacher, Maggie Lewis' son was diagnosed at age 5.

The Trike-A-Thon is a great opportunity for our kids and their families to raise money and awareness for a great cause, and to have fun as a team riding and scooting for as many laps as they can during this fundraiser.

Thank you for your sponsorship of our team and your help in funding integral research toward treatments and a cure!

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with Cystic Fibrosis. Chronic lung disease, malnutrition, the possibility of developing diabetes, and frequent hospitalizations are a way of life for these patients.  The median age for life expectancy is 42.  That simply means that of those 30,0000 patients, only half of them will live to see their 42ndbirthday.  They are striving to breathe and live a full life. We ride for them and hope that you will support us in our efforts.
